App Version 1.31.0 introduces updates to help life science teams access quality data more effectively and work more smoothly across Document Control, Change Control, and Training.
This release includes expanded CSV exports and fixes to document and Change Request workflows. These updates reflect customer feedback and the practical needs of teams managing quality processes and compliance activities every day.

App Version 1.31.0 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of August 12, 2026.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
Expanded CSV Exports
Document exports now include additional information from the Details section, including document metadata, version information, dates, owners, authors, reviewers, approvers, and tags.
You can use more complete exported data to support recurring reports, quality reviews, and internal analysis without relying only on document names.
Document and Change Request Workflows
Fixed issues that could leave approved documents or Change Requests in an incorrect workflow state. Users assigned to a Change Request action can now also access the related Change Request.
These fixes help users access the records they need and support smoother progression through Document and Change Request workflows.
Periodic Reviews
Fixed an issue where imported Form documents could generate Periodic Review tasks even when Periodic Reviews were disabled for the document type. Periodic Review activities now better reflect the configuration of your document types.
Templates and Document Details
Several usability updates make everyday work more straightforward:
Saved filters in Workspace are now sorted alphabetically.
The redundant Template badge has been removed from the Templates view.
Required fields in Document Details now use the standard asterisk (*) indicator.
These changes make common screens easier to navigate and help users recognize required information more consistently.
With App Version 1.31.0, these updates help teams work with more complete quality data, clearer system information, and smoother day-to-day quality workflows.
