App Version 1.19.1 introduces improvements focused on Document Control, Change Control, Training, permission handling, and overall usability across the platform.

This release includes updates designed to improve document reliability, simplify administration, and provide better visibility into quality activities.

App Version 1.19.1 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of June 3, 2026.


New Features

Improved Document Access and Administration

This release introduces improvements to help administrators manage document access more efficiently.

Improvements include:

  • Administrators can now undo a document check-out to unlock documents when needed

  • Users are now guided to the appropriate group configuration when enabling Classified Access for a document type

  • Users can manage groups more efficiently with improved search and navigation

These improvements help reduce editing bottlenecks, improve collaboration, and simplify classified document setup.


Bug Fixes and Improvements

Improved Document Control Reliability

Several improvements strengthen document consistency and document lifecycle management.

Improvements include:

  • Fixed formatting issues during Word-to-PDF conversion

  • Improved processing and scalability for publishing large PDF files

  • Fixed incorrect authoring actions assigned to released documents

  • Resolved approval issues affecting specific documents

  • Custom fields now display consistently in version history

  • Archived custom fields can no longer be inserted through the SimplerQMS Add-In

  • Fixed tag-saving issues in the SimplerQMS Add-In

  • Added searchable selections when creating documents, templates, and processes

  • Empty properties in the Add-In now display as "N/A"

These improvements support more reliable document publishing, better document information visibility, and a smoother document editing experience.


Improved Change Control and Training Workflows

This release includes fixes that improve workflow accuracy and visibility across Change Control and Training.

Improvements include:

  • Fixed Effectiveness Check rescheduling to correctly follow configured intervals

  • Training Rule IDs are now visible while editing rules

  • Archived Training Rules no longer assign training records, and overdue records are automatically cleared

These improvements help maintain accurate workflow schedules, improve visibility into Training Rules, and reduce unnecessary training assignments.


Enhanced Reporting, Filtering, and Usability

Several updates improve how users find, review, and manage information across SimplerQMS.

Improvements include:

  • Added CSV export for User Actions reports

  • Added new Change Request filters for Effectiveness Check status, Impacted Processes, and Change Priority

  • Fixed filters that did not update correctly when switching tabs

  • Improved date formatting consistency for custom date fields

  • Improved access management clarity and usability

  • Fixed multiple classified banners appearing

  • Improved handling of URL-safe IDs

These improvements make it easier to find information, analyze activities, manage configurations, and work more efficiently across quality processes.


User Settings and Configuration Improvements

This release includes several updates to simplify system configuration and improve consistency.

Improvements include:

  • Improved Groups configuration and navigation

  • Updated Document Type settings labels, descriptions, and controls

  • Improved General Settings descriptions and layout
