Many of the improvements in App Version 1.14.0 are based on customer feedback and real workflow challenges experienced in Change Requests, Training, and Document Control processes.
This release introduces enhancements focused on improving workflow visibility, usability, responsiveness, and document consistency across the platform.

App Version 1.14.0 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of May 6, 2026.
New Features
"Change Priority" and "Conclusion of Change Plan" in Change Requests
This release introduces new capabilities that improve the structure and traceability of Change Requests.
Improvements include:
Change Priority can now automatically populate based on the selected Change Type
Change Requests now include a Conclusion of Change Plan field to document the outcome and closure of Changes
These capabilities reduce manual setup during Change Request creation, support clearer and more complete documentation, and improve traceability across Change records.
New "Created by Me" View in My Work
A new Created by Me tab is now available in My Work, providing visibility into actions and tasks you created for other users.
Users can also filter completed actions for better follow-up and oversight.
This improves visibility into delegated tasks and responsibilities, helps users follow up on assigned actions more easily, and supports better coordination across teams.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Improved Training Workflow Performance and Accuracy
Several improvements enhance the reliability and responsiveness of Training workflows.
Improvements include:
Improved performance and responsiveness when opening and managing Training Rules
Fixed inconsistencies between Training Matrix status indicators and training records
Fixed issue where the Full Report button in Training Analytics did not redirect correctly
Improved handling of training records when users or groups are removed from Training Rules
These improvements support faster and more reliable management of Training Rules, more accurate visibility, and improved usability when reviewing Training Analytics and compliance records.
Improve Change Request Workflow Usability
This release includes several fixes that improve usability and workflow accuracy in Change Requests.
Improvements include:
Fixed issue preventing scrolling through long lists of Items to Change and Actions
Approval indicators and approval dates now appear only after the full approval workflow is completed
Fixed issue where approvers added to a Change Request were not correctly recognized in the workflow
Improved cleanup of outdated or completed actions from user dashboards
Disabled Document Type selection in Change Control settings to reduce confusion and prevent inconsistent behavior
These improvements enhance visibility and usability when managing complex Change Requests. They also ensure approval workflows reflect the correct status and approvers, while keeping dashboards more relevant and easier to manage.
Improved Document Formatting and Version Consistency
Several fixes improve formatting stability and consistency across document versions and generated PDFs.
Improvements include:
Fixed issue where repeated check-out/check-in actions introduced extra spacing and formatting disruptions
Fixed PDF rendering differences that caused unexpected page breaks in released documents
Fixed issue where retired documents displayed content from newer versions instead of preserving the original released content
These improvements maintain more consistent document formatting, reduces discrepancies between working copies and released PDFs, and preserves document integrity for retired records.
Usability and Configuration Improvements
This release includes several usability and configuration improvements across the platform.
Improvements include:
Fixed issue preventing groups from being added to Saved Views
Improved number formatting consistency in Time and Formatting configuration under Settings
Fixed validation issue preventing creation of certain Document Types
Required custom property fields now correctly enforce validation during document workflows
This improves consistency in system configuration and document setup, reduces risk of incomplete required properties, and provides a more predictable and user-friendly experience across SimplerQMS platform.
