At SimplerQMS, we continuously improve the platform to support a seamless quality management experience.
In App Version 1.11.0, we focused on improving key workflows across the system. This update addresses several issues that previously affected processes in critical areas of the platform. These improvements help ensure a more flexible and reliable user experience.

App Version 1.11.0 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of April 15, 2026.
Improvements & Bug Fixes
Licensing & Administration Updates
Viewer users can no longer be assigned the Admin role. The Admin role now requires a Light, Standard, or Full license.
Updated license terminology for clarity. The license previously referred to as “Free” is now labeled “Viewer.”
Training Management Improvement
Resolved an issue preventing users from accessing assigned training records. Users can now access their assigned training records as expected.
Periodic Review
Corrected early appearance of periodic review tasks. Periodic review actions no longer appear in the My Work dashboard before the configured advance period.
Document Control Improvements
Resolved an issue for documents not requiring Change Requests. Previously, documents not requiring a Change Request were incorrectly routed into a Change Request workflow during updates. Users can now create a new draft directly, as intended.
File Export Improvements
Resolved issue with empty CSV exports. Exported CSV files now correctly include records instead of returning empty results.
Resolved unexpected highlights in effective PDF versions. Effective PDF versions no longer display unintended highlighted content.
Change Control Improvement
Added guidance when selecting documents for a Change Request. The document selection now includes a banner explaining that only documents requiring a Change Request are displayed. It also advises users to review document type settings if no documents appear.
These enhancements strengthen workflows that are critical for maintaining process consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
