A new month brings new improvements to enhance your experience in SimplerQMS.
In App Version 1.10.0, we’ve focused on improving the reliability and navigation of key workflows across Documents, Change Requests, and everyday system use.

App Version 1.10.0 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of April 10, 2026.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Change Requests Workflow
Fixed an issue where Items to Change could disappear when a Change Request moved to the next stage. The tab now correctly displays the relevant documents that need to be updated.
Resolved an error that prevented routing and approval when approving version 2 of a Change-Request-controlled document, allowing documents to move through the workflow smoothly.
Improved visibility of Change Request type descriptions. Previously, descriptions were hidden behind tooltip icons. They are now visible directly when creating a new Change Request.
These improvements help ensure teams can clearly identify documents affected by a change and move them through the controlled change process without interruption.
File Upload and Document Details
Resolved error that prevented upload of document attachment. You can now upload Microsoft Word and Excel files without interruption.
Resolved issue of unable to edit document details where the pencil icon was unclickable. You can now update document details normally.
Document Format and Export Workflow
Fixed header alignment in generated PDFs so the document header maintains the same formatting and position as the original document.
Fixed issue where document header displayed template name instead of the document title when working directly in the document.
Expanded details available when exporting documents. Exported files can now include document number, revision, title, and effective date—making it easier to reference documents during reviews, audits, or external sharing.
These updates improve document clarity and make exported files easier to reference during reviews, external sharing, and audits.
User Experience and Usability
Improved document ID handling. Manually entered IDs are now automatically structured to prevent duplicate document numbers.
Fixed inconsistent document version display in periodic review action. Document version is now more consistent between My Work and Documents page.
Removed unnecessary file upload prompts when creating a new document or change request that created interface friction.
Fixed an issue where Periodic Review actions could trigger multiple times after completion by the document owner.
These improvements reduce interface friction and make everyday document management tasks more predictable and efficient.
