In this release, we've focused on improving the reliability of key workflows you use every day in SimplerQMS.

App Version 1.7.0 resolves several issues that previously affected document approval, editing, and file handling, while also improving the stability of the SimplerQMS Add-In and overall system consistency.

These updates help ensure your quality processes run smoothly and without interruption.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Document Approval and Version Control

  • Fixed an issue preventing document approval due to a workflow error

  • Resolved inconsistencies in document version status (e.g., multiple active versions)

Documents now move through approval workflows and version transitions as expected.

Document Editing and File Handling

  • Fixed an issue preventing document check-out in the SimplerQMS Add-In

  • Resolved file upload and check-in failures

You can now check out, edit, and upload documents without disruption.

SimplerQMS Add-In Stability in Microsoft Word

  • Fixed issues where the Properties panel did not load or behaved inconsistently

The SimplerQMS Add-In now provides a more stable and consistent editing experience.

Task Visibility and Notifications

  • Fixed mismatch between action counts shown in email notifications and actual tasks

You can now rely on accurate task visibility in notifications.

User Interface and Usability Improvements

  • Fixed pagination issue in Document Types under the Settings menu

  • Resolved watermark overlap in "For Training" documents

  • Standardized naming (e.g., "Title" vs "Name") and improved table headers

These updates improve clarity and consistency across the system.
