Login via Google Workspace

Organizations using Google Workspace can now authenticate users in SimplerQMS through Single Sign-On (SSO).

This allows your teams to access SimplerQMS using your existing identity provider

without requiring Microsoft Entra ID while maintaining centralized access control through Google Admin.

App Version 1.5.0 is available to all SimplerQMS customers as of March 3, 2026.

SSO via Google Workspace

Organizations using Google Workspace can now log in to SimplerQMS through SSO. Full license users can configure Google Workspace as the authentication provider. Once configured, all users can log in via Google SSO.

To configure Google Workspace as your authentication provider:

  • Go to Settings

  • Open the General tab

  • Unlock the authentication provider setting

  • Select Google Workspace

  • Lock the setting and click Save

Using Google Workspace as your SSO provider supports centralized user access management and scalable onboarding, while helping your organization maintain consistent access policies and support compliance with standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 27001.

If your organization plans to switch from your existing provider, ensure Google SSO is configured beforehand to maintain uninterrupted access for your users.

Other Updates to Support Your Day-to-Day

This release also includes patch updates to enhance overall reliability and workflow consistency.

  • Improved Change Request effectiveness check
    Fixed an issue with the reschedule option. Only the assigned owner can now reschedule within the selected time range.

  • Periodic Review visibility
    Fixed an issue where Periodic Review tasks were not visible to dedicated group owners in the Home menu.

  • Improved document navigation
    Navigation across document lists, archived documents, and audit trails has been enhanced.

  • Archived and released documents
    Removed the Add button from non-editable documents to prevent confusion.

  • Session stability improvements
    Resolved unexpected logout issues and enhanced overall system reliability.

  • User interface updates
    Improved layout consistency across Documents and Search.

Additional performance improvements have been made to filtering, responsiveness, and training record handling.
