Ensure all supporting evidence is correctly linked to a document so reviews, approvals, and audits include the full context.

Who Is This For?

  • Authors / Owners – adding or curating supporting files

  • Reviewers / Approvers – verifying attached evidence before decisions

  • QA / Auditors – checking completeness of documentation packages

How to Do It?

Step 1: Upload an attachment

  1. Go to the Document Page and open the Attachments tab.

  2. Click Add or drag-and-drop file(s) into the Attachments area.

  3. Click Upload to complete.

Step 2: Remove an existing attachment

If a file is no longer relevant, you can remove it while the document is editable.

  1. Open the Attachments tab.

  2. Find the file and select the three-dots under the Actions column.

  3. Choose Delete to remove it.

❗ Compliance reminder: Attachments form part of the quality record. Only remove them when justified, and ensure the rationale is traceable (e.g., in change documentation).

Step 3: Download an existing attachment

Download a copy for offline review or to share in controlled contexts.

  1. Go to the Attachments tab.

  2. Find the file and select the three-dots under the Actions column.

  3. Choose Download to save a local copy.
